The latest issue of Parade magazine reveals what celebrities actually make, and some of the results might surprise you.  Fifty-eight-year-old NCIS star Mark Harmon made $38 million last year, or $500,000 for each episode of the highly rated yet under the radar show. Meanwhile, everyone is talking about Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, but the whole clan only made $50,000 in total for the whole first season.  And the forever bankable Olsen twins made a staggering $40 million each last year, mostly from their popular clothing lines.

Parade’s Surprising Celebrity Salaries

  • LeBron James -- $57.5 million (est.)He makes $40 million in endorsement deals, including ones with Nike and Sprite, and has the top-selling basketball shoe. 
  • Taylor Swift -- Salary: $57 million (est.) She is the third highest-paid woman in entertainment, next to Oprah Winfrey and Britney Spears. 
  • Justin Bieber -- Salary: $55 million (est.) The singer likes to invest in tech start-ups and earned an estimated $6,261 per hour last year. 
  • Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen -- Salary: $40 million each (est.) The former stars of Full House now have clothing lines that hit close to $1 billion in retail sales. 
  • Mark Harmon -- $38 million (est.) The star of CBS’s top-rated NCIS is reportedly getting a “healthy raise” over his last contract’s $500,000 per episode.
  • Adele -- Salary: $32 million (est.) Her album 21 was the top seller in 2011 and 2012, despite her time off for throat surgery and motherhood. 
  • Sofia Vergara -- Salary: $21 million (est.) The Modern Family star has a fashion line at Kmart as well as deals with CoverGirl and Pepsi, and co-founded Latin World Entertainment, a Hispanic-oriented talent management firm. 
  • Paula Deen -- Salary: $16.5 million (est.) A type 2 diabetes sufferer, she has an estimated $6 million deal with diabetes drugmaker Novo Nordisk.
  • Guy Fieri -- Salary: $8 million (est.) The Food Network star gets $100,000 per personal appearance. 
  • Carly Rae Jepsen -- Salary: $2 million (est.) The "Call Me Maybe" singer is the face of the Wet Seal clothing company.
  • Alaina 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson -- Salary: $50,000 (est.) That’s not just for her; that’s what the whole family earned for the show last season. But their rate has tripled for the new season.
